Building permit has granted and is legally valid<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The municipality of Posio has granted Solarwind Finland Oy a building permit for a battery energy storage facility to be constructed in the Raistakka area. This permit is one of approximately 20 ongoing projects being developed by Solarwind Finland. The capacity of the Posio battery storage facility will be 25 MW \/ 50 MWh. It will be built about one kilometer from Caruna\u2019s Posio substation, along the Ranuantie road.\n\nTechnical planning has begun, including dynamic simulations required for grid connection compliance. Solarwind Finland is advancing the project and believes that an investment decision could be made once sufficient studies have been completed\u2014possibly during the first half of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
